Recycling your empty candle jar !

You had bought a beautiful candle from us and you’ve burnt it completely. Now you are left with a practically empty container. What now?! “What do I do with my extra candle jars?” is one of the most commonly requested inquiries we receive. We appreciate hearing that you cherished and savored your candle.
You deserve praise for thinking about the environment rather than simply throwing the jar in the garbage. The good news is that there are several uses for your empty candle jars; keep reading to learn more!

Begin with a clean, empty jar. There are several ways to accomplish this and a few of our favorites are included below:

OVEN: First, take off any labels, then put your jar in an oven set to the lowest temperature and leave it there until the remaining wax melts. Remove the jar from the oven with care, discard any wax that has melted, and then use a spoon to remove the wick. After hand washing, rinsing, and drying, wipe the interior with a towel to remove any leftover wax or soot.

HAIR DRYER: You can use a hair dryer to melt any wax that is still there. To remove the wick and clean, follow the same procedures as previously suggested.
FREEZER: The jar should be frozen for at least a whole night or until the leftover wax solidifies and shrinks. Remove the wax block and wick by popping it out with a spoon or chipping it off in pieces. To clean, follow the same procedures as before.

Now that your jar is clean and empty, there are endless ways you may give it a second life. Here are some of our favorite ways to reuse and modify our jars:

* Ceramic and concrete jars may be used to propagate plants and herbs!

* Glass containers with lids are perfect for keeping little objects around the house and in the car. Before adding soil, lay a few tiny rocks at the bottom of the jar to encourage drainage.

* Paper clips, elastic bands, even dog treats may be stored in shorter, broader jars, which are also great for holding items like jewellery and keys that are prone to becoming lost.

* Every bathroom may become a magnificent hideaway with the addition of the most exquisite vessels! Put cotton balls, makeup brushes, and other items in a tray.

Happy recycling!
